- Is the print-ready PDF export actually free?
- Yes. Free export gives you the full A4 chart with a light Blaadline watermark, and there is no sign-up wall — you can export before you make an account. Premium removes the watermark and unlocks poster sizes, extra templates, and advanced export options.
- Will a large tree with many generations still fit on the page?
- Yes. Whole-tree export fits your complete connected tree onto a single page automatically. Premium can also export only the area visible on screen, or large poster dimensions like A3, A2, and A1.
- Does it work for names in Bengali, Arabic, or other scripts?
- Yes. The PDF is generated through your browser's native print pipeline, so every script your system can display prints correctly with no extra setup.
- Why is vector PDF better than a regular print or screenshot?
- A screenshot or raster image saves as fixed pixels — when blown up to poster size or zoomed in, text and lines blur immediately. Vector PDF preserves mathematical curves and embedded fonts, so names remain needle-sharp whether printed on A4 or an A0 wall chart.
- What paper size do I need for my family tree?
- Up to 3–4 generations (15–30 people) fits comfortably on A4 or US Letter. 4–5 generations (30–80 people) works best on A3/Tabloid. 5–7 generations (80–250 people) prints beautifully on A2 or A1 poster dimensions.
- Can I take the PDF to Staples, FedEx, or a local print shop?

- Does free export include watermarks?
