What it is for
- Build and edit a family tree in the browser, with or without an account
- Import and export GEDCOM 5.5.1 so your data stays portable

- Share a tree privately, by unlisted link, or publicly on Explore
- Export a print-ready vector PDF for framing or a print shop
What it is not
If you need records search or DNA matching, use Ancestry, FamilySearch, MyHeritage, or a similar research service — then bring the finished GEDCOM here to lay out and print.

Who can see a tree
- Private
- Only the owner. Default for every new tree.
- Unlisted
- Anyone with the link can read it; not listed on Explore or in the sitemap, and pages emit noindex.
- Public
- Readable and listed on Explore and in the sitemap.
Free vs Premium
The product is free; the print upgrade is paid. There is one paid plan called Premium — monthly, yearly, or lifetime (when offered) are how you pay, not different feature tiers.

Your data
- GEDCOM import and export are free — your tree is not locked in.
- Saving is explicit in the builder; guests keep one tree in the browser until they save it to an account.
- Cancelling Premium never locks your trees: you keep building, exporting GEDCOM, and sharing on the free plan.
